About the project
Goals Establishing two direct reduction mega modules through Midrex method
Project details Mobarakeh Steel Company has established two direct reduction mega modules through Midrex method, each by the capacity of 1.5 million tons per year (totally 3 million tons per year) to increase its steel production capacity by Making a contract with IRITEC & Irasco. Other facilities like Oxide pellet transportation system , sponge iron storage piles, product transportation system, cold briquette making unit, water cooling and purifying system will be designed and implemented simultaneously along with these modules. The total weight of project equipments is 30 thousand tons. IRITEC is responsible for all basic & detail engineering services, planning and project control, manufacturing and supply of local equipment, civil works and equipment installation, start up and production guarantee. The employer has to provide a part of equipments and concrete.
