About the project
Goals Increasing the production of sponge iron in Ahwaz Steel Complex to 800 thousand tons per year
Project details Khuzestan Steel Company assigned the establishment of a direct reduction plant to IRITEC to increase its production capacity. In this project, the possibility of optimized use of the existing infrastructure facilities in this unit adjacent to the direct reduction plants has been considered.
The total weight of this project’s equipments is over 8700 tons. IRITEC has been responsible for all engineering services including the detail engineering, inspection an acceleration of local equipments, planning and project control and supervision and performance managements up to the end of the start up.
