About the project
Goals Establishing one Midrex direct reduction unit with the capacity of 800 thousand tons of sponge iron per year adjacent to Ardakan pelletizing complex.
Project details In addition to establishing a direct reduction unit , construction and start up of the cold briquette making unit, voltage reduction post (from 10 kv to 6.6 kv), sponge iron storage, system of material transmission from Iranian Ghadir direct reduction entrance, sponge iron transfer from site to steelmaking, and 1,500 meter gas supply Were also included in the scope of this project. Pamicco is responsible for construction and Irasco for foreign supply. For the time being, a part of engineering, construction and supply has been carried out before the effectiveness of the Contract under an early start agreement.
